Building on the premise "that the most powerful change occurs when one transcends the paradigm one operates in" (Donella Meadows) and on the frameworks of our mentors from Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice, we will dive deep into the ESSENCE of what we need to change to transform our predominant degenerative systems into regenerative ones.

Hotel Jerom*.

A hotel committed to sustainability on the edge of the Kalmthoutse Hei, a 60 square km nature reserve on the edge between Belgium and the Netherlands. The hotel is 30 minutes outside of the city of Antwerp, with easy train access to the Kalmthout train station which is 2 kms from the venue. Pick-up from the train station in Kalmthout can be arranged. The closest train station on the Dutch side is Roosendael, which is 20 kms from the hotel.

*We will send out detailed travel instructions in March 2024.

**For people coming from abroad, international trains stop in Antwerp or Brussels, with regular connections to Kalmthout. The closest airports are Antwerp airport and Brussels Zaventem airport.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Leen Gorissen, PhD in Biology is the founder of the Centre for Natural Intelligence in Europe, the world's first organisation to promote and apply natural intelligence (NI). NI is the art & science of how we can regenerate the world and leave the planet better off than we found her. It entails the intelligence that is deeply embedded in living systems and how they allow life on Earth to become more and be able to do more over time. Gorissen is the author of ‘Building the Future of Innovation on Millions of Years of Natural Intelligence’, a book that gained appraisal from Hollywoods film director Louie Schwartzberg. She is a sought after inspirator, teacher and advisor, from the European Commission to businesses the world over, and she was the lead scientist of the study ‘Regenerative Development and Design to elevate Governance, Innovation and Planetary Health’ commissioned by the Belgian  Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2024. Previously, Leen worked as a Transition Research Coordinator at the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO Belgium) and has been a scholar of the Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice since 2018.
